The Nutcracker
I attended my first ballet performance on Friday.. it was a 45mins matinee designed specially for children and performed by Ballet San Jose. It was a truly magical performance.. the international cast were outstanding, the stage decor was beautiful and elaborate, wonderful choreography and the music by Tchaikovsky was simply awesome. I hope to watch this ballet performance again next year and maybe by then I'll be patient enough to sit thru the full length version of the Nutcracker.

cool! perhaps you would like to try watching swan lake, that's pretty nice too. don't know about the childrens' version tho but i like the ice show....very pretty.

Thanks for the recommendation Sonia! We just bought the tickets for Swanlake children's 1hr matinee but it's not an ice show though..
nunu, that's the mouse king and he's really funny in the show .. not scary at all lah :)

Alya, i really salute you! Those in e costumes looks so scary and monstrous and you can still smile so pretty with them!
