A Quiet Eid
Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha to all my Muslim readers and friends!
We celebrated Eid yesterday (Dec 19) following MCA Bay Area although others here might celebrate it on Friday instead if they follow the other Muslim Association. I went for my first Eid prayers with Mamma & Abah and almost didn't go coz I have problem getting up so early in the day and vomitted all over my jubah once we were in the car luckily we had spare clothes.
After prayers at the Santa Clara Convention Center we rushed straight home coz Abah got to get back to work. Mamma & myself then headed for Aunty Mariam's house for a potluck lunch. We brought Ayam masak merah and kuih bakar durian. There were many other excellent food from Aunty Nora & Aunty Mariam. I spent a good 4hrs playing with my friends before we headed home to join Abah for dinner when he gets home from work. That was our Eid, peaceful, short and sweet :)
