What have I been upto this week?
- Officially off the bottle!! Thanks to Shaayla's influence and Auntie Pauline's tips.. I'm now drinking milk only from the cup. I threw away my stinky bottle into the trash can to mark this new milestone.
- Fell in love with Winnie the Pooh movies... the only kiddy movie that I can watch from start to end.
- Had my biometrics (fingerprint & picture) taken.
- Pulled weeds from the backyard but it still needs some cleaning up to do.
- Received packs of books from Dede & Scholastic to add to my book collection.
- Cried when Mamma told me that my Friday class was cancelled coz Teacher Ryan had called in sick.
- Spent the whole Saturday morning with Abah and his Sg friends while Mamma was taking her driving lesson.
- Had a wonderful afternoon hike at Shoreline park with Shaayla & family on saturday afternoon.
- Bought my first Keen Sandals from REI and cannot stop wearing it even during cold nights.

wonderful that you are off the bottle!! wonder when will i have that courage? does this mean you are not waking at nite for milk?? congrats alya!

Congrats Alya... Yahooo no more night milk means no more pee pee on diapers... heheh If only I'm brave enough to drink milk from a cup...
I think I need an extra extra stinky bottle to stop me from drinking it from it cos my bottle is already stinking badly!!! hahahahhaha!!

funny you're getting rid of the bottle habit, my momma's trying to make me embrace the bottle! haha, anything to make me forget to nen-nen...

hey it's not easy throwing away my precious bottle. I finally succumbed when Mamma let me smell the teat of bottle .. it does have a faint smell and since I have a super sensitive nose .. to me it smells sooo yuckyy. We made a big ceremony of throwing it into the huge garbage can. And i got a nice new cup with straw to replace the bottle.
Sonia, I know how you feel.. take your time.. do it only when you're ready okay. I still wake up at night for milk but my milk intake is now much lower than used to.
Haney, I still wake up for milk lah at night (once only) but sometimes I only drink one sip of milk rather than finish the whole cup. Watch out maybe one day ..your mama will try put some yucky stuff on your bottle teat hehe.
Nunu girl, milk bottle is nice you'll love it.. i tell ya. actually over here we're encouraged to switch to cups by the time we're 18mo .. that means I'm way overdue haha. if you're nearby I can pass some books to you.. I have so many I don't have time to read them all.
