Trip to Point Reyes National Seashore

We finally get to visit Point Reyes National Seashore on Sunday together with Abah's friend/co-worker from Singapore, Uncle Amos. After we parked the car, we boarded a bus from the visitor centre and headed to the Lighthouse. I had a great time walking along the trail to the lighthouse. I only stopped short of climbing down the 300 steps to the lighthouse. I made lots of stops along the way to pick up sticks & stones, lookout at the water beneath the cliffs and explore every little nooks & corners I found.

While my parents & Uncle Amos were whale watching (they only caught a glimpse of the whales thru the telescope), I kept myself busy learning about the different types of whales from the volunteer ranger. She even let me play with miniature whales and touch the whales' teeth which felt more like a soft brush.

It was a very educational trip for me, not only do I get to learn about whales .. I also get to see elephant seals, cows, elks, birds and a very cute gopher.

Ummi.. I have a busy schedule but luckily it doesn't include ballet, art, drama, tuition, piano, violin classes yet!
