It was just another routine trip to the dentist. My teeth is now clean and no cavities but I now have two slightly loose teeth the result of bumping into a bar at the playground. I don’t have to extract those teeth though .. my dentist said I can just let it fall naturally. It will probably fall off in a couple of years time.
But horror of horrors my dentist said I might need to put on braces when i get bigger and the permanent teeth are out. Apparently my teeth are very close together living no gap for the new teeth to grow. Hence I will have crooked teeth just like my Abah. It’s no fun wearing braces .. I fear I might look like a robot. I’ve got a beautiful smile, nice dimples but when I open my mouth it’s gonna be all metal!! It’s gonna be awkward .. I’m so not looking forward to my new set of teeth and the metal piece.

17|Dec|2008 2alamak, sakit or not your loose teeth? eh what am i saying, of coz la sakit sayang. huhu alah nanti when those teeth fall of, then your nice smile would look like pagar roboh.
but later on if you need to wear braces, i think you’d look cute, not awkward

18|Dec|2008 4Nanti bila gigi gigi tu tanggal, pesan Mama campak gigi - kalau gigi bawah yang tanggal, campak bawah dapur, kalau gigi atas yang tanggal, campak atas bumbung Ok. Ehh kat sana ada dapur ang-lo ker? Hmm kena pakai gigi kawat iyer? Masa nenek bebudak dulu takda pun gigi kawat. Tapi takper lah, bila Alya senyum, jangan bukak mulut besar besar OK. Senyum simpul ajer lah ok

Tata my fren .. don’t worry … pediatric dentist are pretty gentle folks. Over here we start early at 3yrs old .. visiting dentist is a must .. cannot escape .
