Ilhan’s comment on the previous entry reminds me that I haven’t post anything about my swimming lesson. It’s been almost 6 weeks since I started swimming at Maki Swim School and since then I’ve collected 5 gold coins for doing well.  At the end of the fifth lesson I traded the gold coins with an alien!




I enjoy swimming very much.  There’s only one other kid in my class and sometimes when she skips class I get my own private swimming lesson .. just me and coach Katherine for half an hour.. yipppeeee! For the first-two lessons I must have swallowed a lot of water coz I get a cold+ running nose the following day but not anymore. I’m not even afraid to dive into the water and retrieve the toys at the bottom of the pool. The only thing I haven’t dared to do is to jump  into the water on a standing position from the side of the pool… now that is scary.

I just hope the swimming pool in my community (they’re renovating it in summer can you believe it?!!!) will be ready soon so I can practise my swimming at home.
