Disneyland 2008

After almost 5 hours on the road with a short stop at Toko Rame for my parents’ fave nasi bungkus, we reached Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

It was already 6pm when we entered the magical place and we only have 2hrs to explore the place before they close their gates. I took my first Dumbo ride.. yes, I’ve been to Disneyland for 4times but never took the ride before.. it was a fun one :) Then we headed for the Winnie the Pooh ride.. surprise surprise, there was an exceptionally long queue there. Going for this ride has always been a brisk .. no queue at all. We waited in line and then overheard someone said that the ride was broken and they were trying to fix it. We queued for quite awhile until finally we gave up.

We then rushed to Main St to watch the Disney Parade but since they never start on time, we decide to detour to Tikki Room and watch the birds singing the Tiki songs…..By the time we reached main street, it was already very crowded but I got the best seat of all, sitting on Abah’s shoulder :) After the parade, we decided to go for the Buzz lightyear Astro blasters ride.. I had so much fun that I told my parents I want to take the ride one more time. Luckily, the queue isn’t long .. that was definitely my fave moment of the day. I’m looking forward to more Disneyland adventures tomorrow and this time my friend Shaayla will be joining me too :)
