I’m not too proud to post this entry. Yesterday, my friend Shaayla and Auntie Pauline came over to our house for a playdate. I’ve been waiting to play with Shaayla again since we last met and got very excited when Mamma told me she’s coming over. I made sure I took my nap early as I was supposed to wake up before 3:30pm but I’ve always loved to sleep longer and laze around on the bed first so I got a little cranky when Mamma woke me up.

At 4pm, the bell rings and I excitedly went to open the door. There was Shaayla a little wet from the rain but she had her raincoat on. While my parents and Auntie Pauline were talking about Disney On Ice and Disneyland.. suddenly out of the blue they heard me saying.. Shaayla is stupid! Mamma got a shock but she wasn’t quite sure whether she had heard me correctly so she asked me to repeat it again .. I said the S word again. Sure enough Mamma got upset and pulled me aside. She explained to me that it’s wrong for me to use that word on Shaayla.. it’s not a nice thing to do and Shaayla will feel hurt if I say it to her. Mamma made sure that I apologize to Shaayla .. I said sorry. it was my first time using that word and my parents aren’t sure where I picked it up from .. they guess it must be from tv.

We forgot about that incident quickly and played with the toys. There were a few other embarassing incidents after that .. I really didn’t know what got into me yesterday coz I normally do share my toys. I cried when Shaayla played with my princess lights.. she was so nice and actually give in to me in exchange for the Mickey Mouse lights I was holding.

I cried again when Shaayla put on The Incredibles superpower wrist band eventhough Mamma said Shaayla will only play with it for awhile, she also has the same thing at home and will not bring it back. Then when we were playing with balloons, I wanted the yellow balloon she was playing with eventhough I already have another balloon. Offcourse mine wasn’t yellow. Through out all this Mamma kept telling me that if I don’t learn to share and take turns my friends won’t want to play with me anymore.

When it was time for Shaayla to go, Mamma asked me which of my animal stick puppet would I like to give to Shaayla.. I chose the tiger for her and Shaayla was so happy when I gave it to her. But once she was about to get out of the door, I started crying coz I wanted the tiger puppet back. This time no one give in to me but Mamma said she will make me a new stick puppet.

So anyone else want a playdate with me ?
