For the past few days this house was filled with laughter, cheer, love and warmth… now it’s very quiet since my cousins, auntie & uncle left for their trip to LA at 11am today. I will dearly miss their company especially my cousin Zaki whom I call Jakee and Zainol too. They were practically my shadows, they followed me everywhere I go.

We celebrated their last night here with a dinner at Dardar Seafood restaurant. It rained heavily last night and my Abah used an umbrella to shield me from the rain to get into the car. I know how to say the word umbrella (aberra) from watching Brainy Baby ABC since I was 15mo. But this was my first time seeing it in real life so I got all excited I kept repeating the word umbrella in all different variations for the whole 15mins journey from our home to the restaurant.

Anyway now that they’ve gone we have to move on to other projects. First is to convert the extra room to be my playarea, book an appointment for my 18mths checkup in late December and then prepare for our trip to London which is in 2wks time. Yeah like they said … you need a holiday after a holiday and we truly deserve this break.
