My cousins, Zaki & Zainol and their parents’ Auntie Kamariah (Abah’s elder sis) and Uncle Azhar is now on the plane over Pacific Ocean and heading our way. They are bringing with them 8 bags full of winter clothes and goodies for us too. I hope they won’t have any problems at the immigration. Abah has already informed them to declare all the food as dried stuffs, anchovies .. it has always worked for us. Getting all the long list of goodies was a collective effort by both side of our family and we are forever thankful to all of them.

We’re already brimming with excitement to meet them at SFO later this evening and have planned to pack food to go from our fave chinese halal restaurant for dinner and then lepak at their hotel.

*Update: My cousins, Auntie & Uncle went thru SFO customs without any hassle.. Alhamdulillah. All the goodies have been unpacked and Along’s Kek Lapis Asam is so delish yummmmyyyy :)
